Does AMR assume warranty liability for its services?

With a contract for work (in accordance with Art. 363 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations, the achievement of a contractually agreed outcome is owed. The outcome that is owed consists of the work to be produced. Therefore, whether an outcome is owed or just the taking of an action is subject to interpretation. On principle, the outcome may consist of a physical or of an immaterial work.

What does AMR's service cost?

The price varies depending on:

  • seniority level of the consultant
  • complexity of the project
  • type of contract

On what contractual basis does AMR work together with the client?

On an order basis, in accordance with Art. 394 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations.

By accepting an order, the agent is obligated to provide the transaction or service transferred to it in accordance with the contract. In contrast to a contract for work (in accordance with Art. 363 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations), the service provider does not owe on outcome, but only an action.

On average, how long do project assignments take?

The time that our consultants are deployed on a project depends on the client’s needs and the specific project. Typically, it is between 6 and 24 months. We ensure that, after a certain period of time on a client project, our high-potential employees can take on new challenges (regarding sector, client, industry, roll), and thereby collect as many experiences as possible.

Will you pay my travel expenses?

If you are invited for an interview or a case study, we shall share in your travel expenses. The details will be discussed under consideration of your individual situation.

How and when will I know if I have successfully completed the recruitment process?

After each step of our recruitment process, we shall inform you of whether and how to proceed. As soon as you have successfully completed the entire recruitment process, you shall receive a contract offer.

What is the recruitment process for high-potential employees?

Our recruitment process for high-potential employees consists of the following steps:

We shall provide you with an overview of your eligibility, based on your personal file (CV, diplomas and certificates).

We shall conduct a telephone interview with you. While doing so, we shall present our company to you, and learn more of your professional expertise and professional goals.

We shall carry out a structured interview with you on-site. During this interview, we shall ask in-depth questions regarding your specialist expertise, experience and professional goals.

You will work on a role-based case study and then present your results. This will give you the opportunity to prove your technical and methodical know-how.

In due course, we shall also obtain two references regarding you.

What requirements should I meet as a high-potential employee?

We look forward to receiving your application, if you have successfully managed your career start and meet the following requirements:

  • one to two years of intensive work experience in, or an affinity for, project management, PMO, business analysis or requirements engineering
  • university degree in computer science / information science or an equivalent degree
  • very good German and English, spoken and written
  • excellent personal references and job references
  • “doer” mentality, high degree of commitment and resilience
  • reliability and rapid comprehension
  • excellent communication and cooperation skills
